27-28 May Round Robin Qualifiers

3-5 June Knockout Stages

Up to 32 players will compete in the Round Robin, with those seeded higher beyond 32 total entries qualifying directly for the Knockout – i.e. if there are 40 total entries, 8 players will be seeded through; with 48 entries, 16 players will be seeded through.

The Round Robin will be 8 groups of 4 players, so each player will have 3 matches to play, Best of 3 Frames.

Half the groups will play on Saturday 27 May, the other half on Sunday 28 May, so you only need to be available to play on one of the days. You can select your preference for Saturday or Sunday when submitting your entry through the website – we will try to accommodate everyone's request, but it's first-in best-dressed.

The top 2 players from each group will qualify for the knockout on the following weekend. Matches in the knockout are a minimum Best of 7 Frames, with Semi Finals Best of 9, Final Best of 11.

Entry Fee: $60

Under 18 Entry Fee: $10

BSAWA Membership is required to compete in the State Championship.

Full tournament dress rules apply for both the Round Robin and Knockout: Long sleeve predominately plain coloured shirts buttoned at the wrist, bow ties and dark colour dress shoes must be worn for all matches. No sports style shoes, sandals, or boots will be allowed. Waistcoats are required from the Quarter Finals. Note that bow ties must be worn – standard neck ties are not acceptable. Dress code will be strictly enforced.

No alcohol or smoking is permitted whilst playing a match, including between frames.

This is to allow for the draw to be completed and players to be notified of their playing dates – so get your entry in now!
