Junior Coaching

The BSAWA Junior Coaching Program aims to provide a pathway for juniors from beginners to the elite level and into the senior ranks. The coaching is directed towards players who wish to advance in the game, but also caters for those who just wish to play for enjoyment.

Sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 10am at the Pot Black Family Pool & Snooker Centre, 464 Fitzgerald St North Perth commencing Saturday 5 September. Two hours of structured coaching will be provided, and the players will be welcome to free play for an additional hour until 1pm. All sessions are conducted under the supervision of accredited coaches, with assistance from other volunteers.

The program is structured around the ‘Red to Black’ coaching system, endorsed by the World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association and the International Billiards and Snooker Federation as the standard coaching methodology. It provides a range of exercises suitable for students as they progress in playing ability, from beginner to the advanced level. Certificates are awarded as the students progress through each level from Red to Yellow, then Green, and so on up to Black.

The cost of each coaching session is $10 per player.
